About Course

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts of mathematics. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical examples, students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • Understand sets, subsets, and different types of sets.
  • Learn about relations, functions, and their real-life applications.
  • Understand trigonometric functions and their applications.
  • Learn about complex numbers and their use in solving quadratic equations.
  • Understand linear inequalities and their graphical representation.
  • Learn about permutations, combinations, and their applications in probability and statistics.
  • Understand conic sections, three-dimensional geometry, limits, derivatives, statistics, and probability.

Additionally, the course will include the following important features:

  • Challenger assignments designed to enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Mind-maps to help students visualise complex concepts and their interrelationships.
  • Chapter summaries to provide an overview of the key concepts covered in each chapter.
  • Gamified content to make learning fun and engaging.
  • Real-life examples to help students understand the practical applications of mathematical concepts.

Additionally, the course will include the following:

Challenger assignments designed to enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Mind-maps to help students visualise complex concepts and their interrelationships. Chapter summaries to provide an overview of the key concepts covered in each chapter. Gamified content to make learning fun and engaging. Real-life examples to help students understand the practical applications of mathematical concepts.

For example, in the chapter on “Linear Inequalities,” students will learn about the different properties of inequalities and how to solve them. In a gamified activity, students will be presented with a real-life scenario where they have to determine the number of possible combinations of a pizza order based on different restrictions. Additionally, a real-life example of the application of inequalities concepts will be in determining the maximum weight that a bridge can hold.

By the end of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of the basic principles of mathematics, and be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue further studies in the field.
